Woohoo!!
I just made some major progress on Storytracer and will probably be able to provide an online system integrated into Storytracer. I did some tests and managed to connect Storytracer to a remote MySql database. It was one of the major problems I had for releasing an online management system.
Now it would be possible to work locally and upload your progress for your team, share files and organise your project
Now this is probably linked to your webhost so I was wondering if some people would be interested in running some tests to connect to their remote databases?
If needed I can provide a small vb.net program in which you fill in the server, db, username and password to connect to the db.
Just reply to this post if you would like to do some testing
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Jozef

| | I can give you access to my web-host account to do testing. My problem with testing this is I have no experience in any of this kind of thing, so all's I can volunteer is my web-host provider account. Just PM me, or drop me an email for the info. |

| | I would love to help you with this project. I have my sites through a company called Siterise, and as long as you can give me instructions, I would be glad to test out the server connection. |
