Ok, here's the final stuff.

Still had a few more polys to mess with, but juggling this with acutal uni project work is a pain in the meat-cushion.

So, I know there are already a hundred threads (at least) for this challenge, but is there going to be a separate thread when they decide the winner? I want to know which of you guys won.

Yes. The challenge is closed - we are not accepting any new entries. You can of course continue to work on you ships, but we can't consider them in the voting process. All I can say is that the Vote is almost complete, and we'll post the next part of the challenge straight away.

When you say that we can still work on our ships, does that mean that we don't have to start the next stage with a <10000 poly ship?

Exactly. Don't get too far into the detailling, though - that's a stage farther down the line.

Oh, good, so cuts and slices that facilitate texturing but add a few polys here and there are OK...
