XMAS2006 - aszazeroth - "Reuben's Challenge"

Taking my chances on the location of WIP threads =)

Anyways... here is my entry and WIPs

The story behind...

Christmas Eve, in the year of the lord 2335, the fearsome pirate known as "Reuben" caught the trail of alot of "glitter". Now, Reuben was not known for his great intellectual skills, so without a thorough background check he set course for the Eridani system with his rag-tag fleet of three ships. According to his sources, five massive cargo ships, where to leave from Sol-system and arrive at the outskirts of Eridani, where he would promptly wait for them.

Like Swiss clockwork, the bar of lights, heralded the incoming cargo ships and Reuben's fleet began pursuit. After a brief struggle, all ships had been taken over and Reuben himself, boarded to reap the rewards.

One can tell countless stories from the past about the importance of proper intelligence, but that would probably not be necessary. The entire cargo of all five ships jettisoned under great pain, anger and advanced curses, where noting less glittery as millions of Christmas-tree balls...

Henceforth the Eridani Kirkwood gap between the fourth and the fifth planet was graced a Christmas-balls field. Many years later when the word was spread it became a common rite of passage, during Christmas time, to do "Reuben's challenge" and bring back a Christmas-ball for your true beloved.

At the moment, it looks like a Gorf3D

And yes, you're in the right place.

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.
