Thanks for the input.

I thought of doing that, but some of the other elements of the scene will be candy-cane striped, so I decided against that, so the elves don't blend in with their background.

No, this is not the final image, it's just a little fun I was having with my newly completed E.L.F. robots. And, I decided to share the fun.

Great looking EG! Looks like a couple of the guys got demoted though, they're missing their "jingle bell" on their caps!

Keep up with me at my BLOG

Thanks. I'm glad someone likes it. That thing took a while to render on my old PC. I think next time I'm gonna save myself some time and do less anti-aliasing in the render and just AA it in post.

The jingle bells are just to distinguish between the elves, along with the colors, but I guess they could be a North Pole rank system.

Here's a little North Pole 3006 terrain I whipped up. I know this isn't, strictly speaking, proper North Pole terrain, but this is a scifi pic. Plus, the terrain could be altered in 1000 years. Besides, I like snow and ice covered mountains. I plan to model a big picture window in the building I'm gonna make and this will be seen through that window.

Thanks, bro. I tried making them cute, but it's just not in my nature.

Here's the start on the sleigh and garage/workshop. I started making the sleigh and then got distracted by making the workshop itself. I know it's not much yet, but it's a start.

Incidentally, this is what happens when you let freakin' elves be architects.

Everythings looking nice EG! I especially like the window design, very "elf-ish" looking! I also like the mountain background, that's just what I imagine the super-secret area of the North Pole where Santa hides must look like.

Thanks, everybody.

I'll have more either tomorrow or the day after. I got distracted by a side project.

I love the concept and love the meshes.

As to the "Evil Red Eyed Elf" - I can see a Christmas animation where "someone" (Jack Frost, The Grinch, Jack Skeleton whatever) tries to infiltrate Sabtas Grotto and the elves keep switching between good and bad (change of pose and eye colour).

Looking forward to more.
