| Hallway Monitor | Definitely an improvement, I'm quite liking this one! I think what you need to do is make sure that the centre of gravity is about equal, for the weight of the user, or else you're going to stress the bearing. Possibly making it a little adjustable (maybe computer controlled, with pistons moving the position a little? That in turn could be cool, as it could be used for shock absorbing, which is one of the strengths of this type of design. You may want the console to be moveable, and perhaps have it mounted on the arms, so that they swing in, encasing the user (so he doesn't fly out of the thing!) conceptually I just like the upside down question mark as a form |
