Maybe Yuuzhan vong chair? (i actually hate yuuzhan vong, worst idea in SW:EU ever, but this reminded me of them)

They probably thought it was some uber starwars detail monster and then turned it off when it wasn't

Welcome to the world of non-canon designs.. no one hardly replies hehe!

Seriously though it's a very cool design, but modelling organics can be very time-taking, as you have to get your quad flow mojo going!

The seat it's self, aside from the aesthetics, which make it look uncomfortable, also looks a little intimidating and uncomfortable, with that leaning forward design. I guess you can play round with it, when you get the modelling done!

Are you going to try to make the deadline? It would certainly be worth giving it a try. The actual seat part looks good, but I'm not so sure about the claw-like feet
