| I'm messing around with the rear of the chair still... I've yet to connect all of the holes in the front 'seat' section, nor have I fixed the ugly pipes. I promise i'll get those done soon...even if just for the sake of Ozylot. ![]() Do you guys think i should have a detailed background (steps and such), or just have a simple turnstile, for model display? -------------- To do modeling: Clean up the holes Finish the holo arm's final joint and eyes Make some holograms To Do misc: Draw the monitor with pen ------------- |

| Thats great! I really like the details your doing! I would suggest considering the time left, that you focus as much as you can on the chair itself as the environment isn't being judged. I love the little arms it has! |

| Hallway Monitor | Yep I agree with Ozylot, don't concentrate on the background, you could always do that AFTER the competition, but for now just get the bits you need for the brief! I'm loving the detail on this, though I suspect the textures will really sell it! |

| ![]() ![]() ![]() Several angles of the chair, with and without global illumination. I still have to model the loose pipes on the ground, but those are pretty simple... the main thing is the pipes and such in the rear; i'm not sure how to texture them, they look best as they are, but i'm not sure if that's the best way to display them. |

| Hallway Monitor | Good luck with that! the surfaces look excellent! Could use a 'closed' operator pose as well, so we can see it as it would look in use. |

| Im going to take this project further definatly. But not for a little while at least, I promised some concept art for a project, and I really need to start on an animation of mine. Thanks for the kind words of all of those who posted on this thread by the way. Big Brother is pleased. |

| I decided to render out some slightly larger versions, simply because 800x600 is too damn small (IMO) for two angles of this chair. Now to convince myself to ignore the sun and to finally fall asleep. :/ |
