We are fully aware that 10 days is not much. But unfortunately we can't delay Halloween and when the idea of a Halloween Challenge was mentioned we all quite liked it. The rather short deadline is the reason why we only want to see a grey-shaded modell and are not asking for any texturing or lighting or compositing or whatever. And if you can't find time to model something in those 10 days you're welcome to submit a 2d entry which is allowed as well and which can even be just the sketch (although you might have better chances to win if you're doing a full coloured-in 2d piece). We know that highly detailed modells full of greebles and nurnies and whatnot can not be done within 10 days but we are not excpecting such entries.

I can take jokes and it was funny. What I can't take is kilometer long posts with huge images in a thread that is reserved for questions.

Right now we're not accepting photos of physical models as entries for the Sensei Challenges as there is no real proof that you built the model especially for the challenge. It would be quite unfair if you could enter a photo of a model that you made some years ago (and where you didn't have time restraints in the building process). Maybe in future Challenges we'll accept physical models, but right now we don't. Sorry

Usually there is no real precise hour where the submission thread closes. The first Sensei that comes online after the deadline closes the thread. In GMT the deadline for the Challenge is 1st of November, 6 o'clock AM (in the morning). But as explained it is possible (and likely) that the submission thread is open longer than that. All submissions in the submission thread count as long as that thread is open. But of course you should have posted your final image by midnight CST (6am GMT).
