Ultimate PC experience. Well we have just upgraded our workstations at work and Im awaiting a shipment of my first Mac. We spent a great deal of time looking into different machines. HP, Box and a few others. By far the best bang for buck has been the Mac. We bought the first one a number of weeks ago and it did not take much time confiquring it to use windows 64 and running Max 2009. Its a dual quad core 3.2 with 16 gig of ram and a Quadro FX high end card. It runs like a demon and our bench marks have been incredible. |For all those running Max.................google '' Fastest PC for 3DS Max '' and see what comes up. So far we have had no problems at all and are more than happy with its performance. I have to say after being pretty much a PC man myself for years, the operating system is a pearler. No frackin around with drivers etc and it certainly is a lot easier to use than XP or vista. One our IT guys in Sydney has pretty much installed Leopard on a IBM workstation and it is running minus one driver issue. Things are changing

'Deed they be changing! I've become quite disapointed with the hardware markets since I posted this. If I could get a Mac I would. Without hesitation.
