ComingSoon.net has a combination video and written interview with The Wackness ' writer and director Jonathan Levine talking about his new coming-of-age buddy comedy. It stars Josh Peck ( Mean Creek ) as Luke Shapiro, a pot-selling teen trying to find his way in New York City during the summer of '94 and Sir Ben Kingsley as Dr. Squires, his significantly older pot-smoking psychiatrist who he starts hanging out with. It's a buddy comedy unlike any other, which only gets more complicated when Luke starts hanging out with Squires' hot daughter Stephanie (Olivia Thirlby).
