| Schlörbi is a great artist who certainly knows how to inspire people. But don´t let him get anywhere near the Greeble plugin. |

| All Sketched Up!!! | Just now got around to exploring this forum and this guys stuff is beautiful. I love the McQuariesque style of his art.. But I think most of it is hand drawn then perhaps colored in some PC application of some kind isn't it? |

| Hello Fellas, Considering the fact that I'm practically using a UNIVAC I to do my models on, one of those seats would crash my system if I were to download it. http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/a...lith-wip13.jpg Great job Johannes Schlörb. |

| Geez, I've just been noticed about this thread here. I'm flattered by all your comments. I can't get out of my room now, because my head is so big now :-) Regarding the UNIVAC comment (lol): don't worry! These seats aren't as highpoly as they seem. This image is from "99 or 2000 - back then I was still using a Dual PII 450MHz, AFAICR. Close to the UNIVAC ![]() As for my SciFi work in general: in my spare time I still work on the refinement of that space station. Maybe one day it will actually be finished. At least its background is already done - and you can see it in action here: YouTube - Schloerby's Channel These are example clips of how the background works. It is a fully spherical view of earth as seen from a close orbit, very high resolution, and it is a movie, not a still. So from teh moment on when yo put that into your environment slot, you just have to render your spaceship (or teapot) and it will automatically be in earth's orbit - and moving! Cheers & again thanks for the plug and flattering comments! Johannes aka "Schloerby" :-) |
