Very inspiring stuff. Very few artists make me want to buy a print from them but I am being tempted here. I like his photos too.

Blessed are they who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.

is that treasure planet in that one image?????

aside from that,
this is the style of art that most inspires me to design things,
I love the feel they have, it makes space look.....comfortable and cozy.

Definitely. He seems to be one of the very few who occupies that particular niche. From any single piece you can get the feeling of warm and cozy viewed one way, taken another way they come off as expansive and alien, if populated.

His work has the effect of bringing all those incredible Hubble photos right into one's face. As though the pieces were created by someone native to those places.

It is these two qualities which define my own ideals, really. One being the capacity to be interpreted different ways by the same viewer, the other being the appearance of having genuinely come from someplace other than Earth.

I'm glad he's been featured here.

Please pardon my impeccable and nearly flawless English.

He is quite the artist. I've used several 0of his tutorials and found them to not only be informative but exceptionally well written and easy to follow a boon to a beginner such as myself at the time.

I highly recomend his work to everybody.

Simon Abrams: Ok...These things are seriously impairing my ability to think rationally.
Dana Crutchfield: What?

Do you have a picture of Jovian Sky? I'm trying to find one of Greg's images that I wanted to purchase, however it isn't on his site.

Question, does anyone know how I would make a environment map of a starfield background? What would the aspect ratio have to be?
