| Now this is a special request (not for models or the like..but guidance) Hey all For the last year (and a bit...like 3 months i think:P) i have been working on a film script for what feels like my "life's work"..tho frankly its more like a "i've got to get this out of my system before i go insane" piece. Its a Star Wars fan film, based 1500 years before the events of Episode 1, revolving around the end of the "Fifth Great Sith War". Currently i am trying to decide what is a "physical" effect, i.e. a prosthetic make-up, Puppet/Animatronic, a full set, a half set, or a total CG environment (the latter being the easiest to figure out) One thing that has bugged me is the Animatronic side of things, one (possibly two) of the "main" characters call for Animatronic incarnation (both animatronic heads worn by performers) and the biggest issue if finding people who have the skills to bring such a complex idea to life. I'm also currently designing a way to pull off one said character as a prosthetic make-up, and altering the "Main" character to a different species in order to create him in a different way (looking more to a full head prosthetic). Anyways, why am i posting here?..its simple.... I'm in need of guidance on two things..... 1) i NEED people to read the current draft of the script, tell me i'm crazy and to give me guidance on how to make it better, more workable etc.. and 2) I need assistance to find people with any knowledge what so ever in the field of Animatronic's (preferably UK based) to help design the animatronics for the characters. So..the script is available to anyone who wishes to help critique it, or to help guide it in a better direction, all you need to do is either send me a personal message here, or email me at Sheadoshi@yahoo.co.uk regards, SJ |

| Sabre Program Director | Well, as far as the writing bit goes, I'm sure most of the "Phoenix Sequence" writing team could take a look at it for you. I know I'd be happy to, and I think Tanner might like to read it as well. Of course, I can't speak for them, I can only guess as to if they might like to read it. |

| don't take this as an insult, but if I was going to put that much effort into something that was like my "life's work", I would make my own original scifi universe and tell the story there, instead of expending so much time and energy to make something that will probably just piss off George Lucas. |

| Updates!!! Max Max Max....i actually do have a script idea that i toy around with every now and again that is based in my own "Universe"...but as i said i need to get this out of my system ![]() Ok slight update, i now have a finished "second" draft (after writing god knows how many rewrites to get to it) and i am now looking for concept artists to work on the sets, ships and props. I have examples and verbal descriptions of some of the ships/sets that appear in the script. I am also looking for a costume designer...basically i'm now in the design stages of "Pre-Production" Before anyone asks, I do have a team here that are going to be working on the costume, prop and set construction and i myself am working on the special make-up design. If there is anyone out there who can lend a hand on the concept design front, please give me a shout... Regards, SJ |
