Star Trek Borderland Hi, this is a fan series I am working on right now. I want to use live action and green screen the effects. I've been digging up info and checking prices. I'll need atleast a 3ccd camera. Which I might be able to get used on Ebay for under $200. Then there is either greenscreen cloth or green paint.

Just as a note - your male (Lor'na) and female (Rose) Vulcan characters deviate FAR from the "accepted norms" of Vulcan naming practices. While these are your characters and you are free to do with them as you choose, many potential Star Trek fans will be put off by the names. Male Vulcans, out of deference to Surak, have five-letter, two-syllable names starting with S. Most of these names end in a hard consanant. This is not ALWAYS the case, however, re: Stonn from Amok Time (ST: TOS). Female Vulcans, out of deference to T'Pau, have names starting with a T'P in almost all cases. Again ... these are your characters, but if you're going to play in the Star Trek mythos it's good to stick to some of the established canon. Otherwise, the story looks interesting. Taking the "bottom up" view rather than following Bridge Crew is an interesting idea (and one I am also working on with a novel and short story series I'm writing ... not Trek, my own universe). Good luck to you! Sanderlee.

Ya, I chose different vulcan names on purpose. Rose has a backstory. Her mother had a human friend named Rose and they were just really close. And most of vulcans who have a begining letter of S are supposed to come from about the same area on vulcan. Surak, Spock, Sybok, etc. V's are common for both men and women. V'Las, Valeris. And atleast 1 with K, Koss. So its not much of a stretch i think. It still has that five letter 2 syllable approach.
