As an ATI owner who already has HL:2, Lost coast, and Episode 1, this is a total waste for me

Why didn't they offer this sooner?

I haven't played Deathmatch, but Lost Coast is a nice SHORT tech demo basically
pretty much a lost chapter from HL2 with HDR demonstration

*emphasis on short*

(it's very short)

HL2 Deathmatch is great for playing Gravity gun only matchs with a group of friends. In a LAN about a year ago we spent a whole afternoon laughing with that game.
It's incredibly funny to be on the other side of the map and see things flying around when you can't actually see the other players.

Sadly, as far as I can remember Portal is only Single player

Although it's quite probable that it will be modded shortly after it's released. At least that's where my hopes are.
