The cinema style trailer is awesome. WETA rules. They need to make that movie. Or Evagellion.

The game trailer... game looks good. But they need to replace that Manheim Steamroller music.

That looks like its a Weta made Halo3 trailer rather than a teaser for the halo movie witch i dont think has really started any real production other than some design work and stuff. I dont think they even have a script yet.

what a waste of time then, it still looks cool but now it has no point to it

*Edit* - the director listed on IMDB is the same one who did the short, so it could actually be a glimpse of things to come

I pity the fool!

If I had to guess, I'd say it was simply a prelim test that they've put together to help sell the idea of the movie to a bunch of executives who don't trust an 'unknown' director with such a huge movie and budget.

Looks like they've done it under the pretence of a Halo 3 advertisement.

That makes sense to me. Especially when two major studios said no.

But DAMN they've sold it to me. I wasn;t sure what was CGI or what was practical models. I love it when WETA show off

Now about that neon genesis evangelion movie .....

I have nothing to say ... except that .. and that .. and that too ....

hmm, it wasn't really that hard to pick out the CGI, but it was still pretty good, considering they seem to have used completely or almost exlcusively the in-game models from the game.
