Yeah, Ace Combat is pretty awesome, for a arcade combat sim, and it's nto som silly WWII fighter either, ah FINALLY a decent flight combat sim that doesn't occur behind a proppeller.

At first I was worried because it used the same idiot control scheme as the crappy sylpheed space fighter, but on this game, the controls actually work. sure I could have wished to control throttle fully on one of the triggers, or possibly on the other stick with yaw, but for this game, it works out really well. Not sure if the button to change missle type is entirely well placed but...

Also from the trailer released earlier, the game actually seems to have a pretty decent story, now that's rare for any kind of fighter "sim".

But yah, awesome graphics, high speed high action combat flying. Yeah I'm gona want to buy this one, maybe not at full price on release, but when it hits 40-45 euro definately.

Feels a bit dissapointing as the demo ends though, hopign they release a MP demo so I can check out how the multiplayer action in this thign is as well.

I was totally blown away by this one. I am loving the volumetric clouds! The previous incarnations didn't have those. I am really looking forward to playing my own Top Gun soundtrack music streamed from my PC while playing this also. Oh man, this could be the best Ace Combat yet.

Ace Combat 4 and 5 both had a pretty nifty story , in my opinion.

New xbox models since quite a while now won't experience the RROD, even so the oignal umber are quite inflated form users intentionally causing them to get the modified cooling rigs.

I'm not sure what version I have, being from xmas, it's a fairly good chance it doesn't have the modified new cooling rig, but even so, despite being abused with hours of daily gaming, frquently left on in mediacenter, and stuff in a tv/stereo table thing (ie. not well ventilated area, and qquite hot) it's going strong with no sign of RROD.

even so, you get a 3 year warranty against the RROD should it occur, and that's pretty nice either way you look at it

I've experienced RROD but only on start up and it's a rarity. Another rare thing I've had happen to me is the console hanging. Other than that it's been pretty good.

Oddly enough i haven't experienced the RROD yet. Though 360's DVD drive has been dead for about a month now. Meaning i cant play any games or dvd's on it. Since im living in Europe right now and have an American Xbox, Microsoft apparently has no way for me to send my console in for repair because they use UPS for shipping. The console is only 8 months old too. I'm gonna keep trying though.
