|  Unreal Tournament 3 beta demo is out - no keys required Epic's latest shooter hits the PC in demo form today, bringing you a taste of the online FPS in three maps: VCTF-Suspense, DM-Heatray, and DM-ShangriLA. | Oh very cool.... Now I just have to wait for the mac version to arrive.... let us know how you like it! but... if there are not any Onslaught maps what's the point??? |

| Game ROCKS. Runs smooth as butter on my rig (Which is surprising to me). naturally the Demo doens't have max details enabled, but still. |

| are you saying there's no unreal ed in the demo? (i wouldn't expect there to be one...) or they won't provide or include one with the full game? I'd be real surprised if they dropped the editor after all these years. |

The idea was for them to get community feedback to make the full demo, and game better. Biggest concerns were the GUI and some gameplay tweeks, but gameplay wise, it's a HUGE step forward back to the way things were with UT99, it's pulling the best from UT99 and UT2k4 and saying "BOO YEA". If you think it's consolized because of the UI, so does everyone else, and Mark Rein said they are changing it for the PC. As for editer...well, it was a demo, a beta demo at that. Epic has NEVER released an editor with a demo, but ALWAYS has with the full game, UT3 will be no exception, the editor IS in the full game. (Along with alot of other stuff.  )I'm buying this one the day it comes out. | |
