Project Gotham Racing 4

PGR4 is out. and it's awesome. sometimes frustrating but oh so pretty

Haven't tried bikes yet though, just on the demo a bit before I bought the game.

The inside models of the cars are also excellent fully animated including speedomethers and everything. though I drive with just the hood camers, bumpe cam is too low, and the inside car camera as usual have a silly limited POV, but that's allways the case with inside views wich makes me question why so many uses the lack of such a view as a negative in Forza reviews. it's not a very good cam for racing, it's a showoff cam, but a ver good showoff

Nürburging in snow though... that's just damn scary, and crazy difficult, especially the invitational you get with the open top racer...

to bad the photo mode don't render at 1080 even on a 720 screen like H3 though.

I love the photo mode in this game

And I'm starting to really hate that damn Nürburgring, frst snow and ice... then heavy rain... and on second thought... a Sagaris on heavy rain may have been a mistake. Awesome care, great acceleration and cornering control... as long as you're not waterplaning anyway

Really nice Hawky- I've got the game, can't wait to play it, but I'm waiting on my new TV arriving before I give in and play it on my crappy 20" CRT...

After PGR3 (blegh) and then Playing Forza 2 (Which I adore), I can't justify spending any money on this.

Forza is great, but...it get's a bit boring after a while being a pure sim driver.

PGR is just pure fun. I just did the first arcade chapter with bikes too. and they're pretty great, They did a great job to de-sim the bikes just enough.

It's interesting about PGR that the developers start with an engine that's at least as "sim" as Forza, then they add in a lot of fucntion to make it less sim and more fun, but at the bottom it's actually a fully fledged sim.
