| Tiger Woods Golf is great on the Wii (make sure you have enough room for your swing). COD3 isn't bad but I just couldn't get to grips with the aiming system. |

| the WII is definitely worth it. metroid prime corruption looks nice. being a fan of the past two metroid prime titles, i can honestly say, just from watching the game play vids ive been seeing, that it is indeed worth it. |

| SFM Guru | Before you buy, make sure there is enogh games you want to play on it, and games that last a little longer then a short RPG like Zelda. The Wii is great, well not my cup of tea, and I don't care for the controller but... The Wii doens't have a lot of games though, and the games it have is mostly single player games. wich at the moment is a problem for the Wii. It's the biggest selling console, but it also has the least amount of games sold. And the Wii is also the least used console, as in people buy it, play a couple of games and then the console collects dust as they wait for new games to come out. after all Nintendo consoles rely mostly on first party titles. And Nintendo has lost a lot of their studios lately. and a lot of multi console games such as CoD, you'd probably rather play on a 360 or PS3 if you have one. So as I aid, think about it and consider how many games on it interests you. and if you really will be playing it. |

| you kidding me? its almost a year, or longer, since the WII came out, and its still sold out everywhere in Jersey, its definitely not underperforming in the being used department, everyone I know has one, except me, no budget for it. |

| SFM Guru | way to not read the post. I allready said it's th emost sold. But on the softwar esale, Wii software is selling less than PS3 games. and as for usage. There are several reports showing that the majority of Wii's are sitting unused next to the TV or other consoles. Peopel buy them play through Zelda, play Wii sports for the few hours it takes for that to get boring then they pretty much site there. you and your nearest friends that have bought one isn't a very good way to judge how the majority of Wii owners feel. and the sad fact is that the majority of Wii's aren't being played as much as other consoles. Besides the point of my post was that he needs to look at the Wii and the games that's available for it, and what games he would like to play on it, and when added up, is it worth the purchase. Then decide. Areyou saying this is a bad device and he shold just go out and buy a onsole because he may be playing a cfew hourse of Wii Sports, and Super MArio Galaxy when it's released ? BEcause on the other hand if he doesn't buy this console, he could instead afford to buy a lot of games for any other console he may allready own. |

| Lt Col Comrade Boris Spry | ^ Good point Hawk and the fact is with three of us at home who love our video games (Dad me and Little Sister) it's going to get a lot of use. Especially for settling who gets the last of the Ice Cream (Wii Sports anyone) You're right. I did look around, and there are a few nice upcoming titles, as well as a few games I wouldn't mind having now. So based on that I got it. It was hella affordable and I simply wont let it gather dust. Besides, I don't think the kiddie appeal will ever wear off for me ![]() |
