Xbox 360 purchased :)

Hey gang I just purchased my Xbox 360 but I can't recieve it until Christmas day. But I have a few questions?

What staple games should I get?

The games that came with the unit are Forza 2 motorsport & Ultimate spiderman.

You won't be upset with Forza, its a great simulator and a hell of a lot of fun IMHO.

Theres a variety of choice. GoW (still!) and Halo3 just for pure fun and geek appeal. Mass Effect and Assasins Creed are both receiving great reviews and I wouldn't walk past Guitar Hero 3 if you wanted to have a bit of crazy (read: drunken) fun with a few mates.

Burnout Revenge
Halo 3
GoW
COD2
COD4
Assassin's Creed
Guitar Hero III
Guitar Hero II (just because)

And never say guitar hero is out of the question because you play the real guitar...they're two entirely different animals--skill in one doesn't at all translate into skill in the other. In fact a bit of skill in one may actually hurt you in the other

Yeah but people look like "DORKS" playing this plastic guitar that don't even have real "strings". And how do you consider hitting buttons on a plastic guitar a skill?

And I'm sorry if I'm stepping out of line but it just peves me you know?

It's a puzzle game set to a theme that appeals to a broad number of people.

It's not about playing the game and thinking you're a musician.

Crackdown > GoW If you haven't played it, give it a go - much more out-of-the-box fun than GoW, though GoW does reward persistence

unofficial speed modelling challenge #1 - Communication devices

My random WIP thread which includes some hints and tips on modelling which _may_ be useful for the link above...!
