Yes. Some might be kept secret to make sure there are some surprises, but expect something non-canon to appear sooner or later. For hints, check out StarSlayer's concept sketch thread over at the 2d art forum.

If you have ever played FS2, you'll have pretty good idea of what it will be like. Also, check out the gameplay test video on the first post.
