Has there been any word on whether a PC port will come out, I bought the strategy guide simply because it came with a limited edition hardback art book (awesome), and now I like the look of it so much I want to get the game, but I ain't gettin no console!

MS licensed the game as a 360 exclusive from BioWare.

Bioware owns the IP though and it's planned as a full trilogy. and since MS only licensed the first title as a 360 game from bioWare, and EA has now bought BioWare, the sequels will possibly be multi platofm, but the first one wil now only be a 360 game.

and really, the controls wouldn't suit a PC anyway, unless you bought a gamepad. 3rd person games just don't work well with mouse+kb

I played KotoR just fine on my PC ... and Legacy (for which people extremely complained about the keys setup even though it wasn't a 3rd person type of game).

I would definitely enjoy seeing Mass Effect for PC (seeing as I have 0 money to afford an XBox merely for this).
It's possible that 6 months from now, a port to PC will be available ... but that's of course mere speculation.

We are who we choose to be and make art that defines us, but there are numerous aspects of our individuality we are born with and are an integral part of what makes us human.

I made a music video out of the Mass Effect trailers. Mass effect - awesome game, btw. So anyway, I think the video's pretty good, but you guys decide. ^__^

It started out great but I think it went a little too long. There were parts where it felt like you were looking for stuff to throw in because the song wasn't over yet I think if you edit the song down to make it shorter you will be able to retain the vibe of the video that you had established in the beginning. I think the the credits in the middle of the video was an interesting idea but it didn't work as well as it could have. Try putting them at the end. I noticed a little Terminator 2 and Star Trek Generations hehe.. I think if you edit the music down you won't need those clips. Awesome work so far

heh, I watchd Final Fantasy: Spirits Within again yesterday, first DVD I've played on the 360 ince I got my workign VGA cable, and dam, the 360 does an awesome job with the upscaling.

but the style in the artowrk is really similar between FF and ME, they both have that clean SciFi tech art style I like. And while FF still has excellent 3D art, and it still the best looking non cartoony CG movie made (hmm wel maybe TMNT, I'd need to check it out again) but damn watching this movie and having played through ME makes me realize how excellent the ME graphics really are.

sure they're not quite FF quality yet, bu net generation of consoles based upon the steps we have seen with this gen, ought to give us games with FF quality graphics.

I think that MAss effet will be relased for the PC. Look at KotoR. It will most likely be seen on PC some time early 2009. I doubt it will be in 2008. But it should be ported some time in '09.

I played KotoR for both the PC and the Xbox. PC first, xbox second, however I liked playing it on the xbox better.

Mine did that, there is a way you can keep it running for a few days more if you want to finish your game over christmas. i've managed to keep mine going for a week so far, i'm sending it back in the new year though.
