Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3

I haven't exactly been waiting in anticipation. Or to be more precise, until about 2 weeks ago, i wasn't. That all changed after seeing this article, New Red Alert 3 Screens Revealed!, which by itself, is little more than a tease.
But What a tease! A Tesla Boat would be quite stupid, practically, but in a game which delights in the impossible technologies in order to defeat the [insert (US; Soviets)] it becomes just another sadistic weapon in your arsenal.
A couple years ago, i had my computer situated in the lab next to this guy who was always playing this fascinating RTS, which I later learned was C&C: RA2. Of course I played the entire game, and even bought the
(disappointing) expansion pack, Yuri's Revenge.

RA3 is more than just a sequel. According to THIS review, There will be a new player, the Japanese, in this worthy update of a true classic. There will be more sea battles, and more planes, and of course a few tweaks of the old classics. Kirov Airships (did I spell that right?) will of course be coming back, hopefully with a few new upgrades. Dogs will bark, and Mirage Tanks will be coming back.

Red Alert 3 will incorporate Live-Action cut-scenes like its predecessors, and is expected to have a Christmas release.

@Guerillia: Its a review and news about an upcoming game- it is much more relevant in GD, as the game has not been released! Please dont move it!!!

I love C&C Red Alert, I was not a fan of Red Alert 2 as I finished it within two days. I felt it was a bit on the easy side.

Now Generals was a great game I felt the only thing missing from that was ships.
I have not played Tibaren Sun, so I don't know what that like.

Right. Gaming section. I'm sure it'll get along with all the other threads about upcoming games just fine.

Looks great so far, but they better have Hell March 3 in the works.

lol! I was just messin' w/ da mod!

I can't wait for it to come out, never played the original, but im a big fan of RA2! The "real" movies definitely made for better gameplay, as you get a chance to "see" what you've accomplished. I am very anxiously waiting for this!!!

Are you going to DL the RA3 beta version?, I'm on the watin list. Can't wait.

I dont think i would anyway, i'd rather play the whole thing in final form

BTW, does anyone know where i can download the movies for RA2? (My install got kinda messed up). I may just buy a new one on ebay tho
