Does anyone know if theres a patch ,and if it works for HALO 2 PC version to use with XP PRO?

I'll be damed if I buy VISTA now.
According to Microsoft VISTA is a "FILL IN" until there newest OS to be ready to general public for last quarter 2009, 0r first quarter 2010!

haha I didn't realise it was out for PC

all MS really do by delaying the PC launch such a huge amount of time is lose customers - I would have been interested in buying it in 2004, but now I'm not...

There is an unofficial patch to make it work on XP. I've used it myself. Be careful to make sure you get the version including the Gravemind fix though.

It looks awful on PC compared to what's out there today. Halo never really pushed the boundaries in graphics and Halo 2 on PC looks positively archaic these days....

Sorry bud. Only on vista because the new features like DX10 and live service require Vista. On the plus side to make it worth it they did up grade the graphics. I bought an OEM copy of vista home premium for $70.00 at micro center.

Halo 2 doesn't really require anything that is Vista only. The fact that hacks appeared within a few days of release show that the Vista only thing was pure marketing and had nothing whatsoever to do with it actually needing DX10.
