Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

So, anyone else pick it up? I got thursday and have been playing it off and on. I am loving that there are way way more cars to race against in the compititions, but I am curious as to why you can't tune or buy after market parts for your cars anymore... plus there doesn't seem to be many cars available...

what you guys think?

What a coincidence, I just played this today. A friend got it - and I had to bring my G25 ...

It is quite decent, so far I like it better than the older Gran Tourismos - for the simple fact that it's got a "little more realistic" mode instead of Arcade only. The graphics are... well, a two sided sword really. The cars look great - the tracks dont. Blurry textures and everything seems rather lifeless. The playbacks are quite nice to watch though. Especially in fast panning shots where the background blurs the graphics look pretty realistic I'd say...

*e* And the M3 is a real bitch to drive

There are a few races, like the ones where you have to pass all the cars in one lap, that seem to me at least, next to impossible. I don't understand how that's even beatable...

Yeah same here. And even getting third is real challenge.

Oh yeah it is a filler untill the main course. There's a lot of cars, tracks, and other features missing from this that the full version will have..
