| SFM Obsessed | Engine of War I found this Idie game quite by accident and it's a really cross between action, electromechanical engineering, and strategy. Yes electromechanical engineering. You actually can set-up the mech's systems in ANY way you want it. From a automatic targeting to a complex scheme of power doubling for extra damage. My only complaint is that the game is not in 3D and that it doesn't have an option for having an AI drive the mecha. | i actually hit this one today as well while reading my daily webcomics download, install, played for about 10 minutes, uninstall. i like the idea and im always in favour of more customisability but the actual gameplay was just way too thin. dont get me wrong, the combination of electrical engineering (and some visual programming) seams odd but works really well. i just dont like what you do with your mech once its built.. its mainly just running away while swirling the turret and shooting all that moves.. its a shame its not in 3d and that you dont see the mech change with your upgrades (not that i noticed anyhow) |

| Complete agreement with last post. Customising mechs to that degree just blows the competition out of the water. However, without a decent game to USE said mechs in... It's a bit pointless. I still fire it up now and then to tinker with the designer, but as for actually playing the game to do more than see if my designs actually work? Nope. |
