Maybe it's my hearing but did they screw up the sounds balancing on the cinematic teaser? It's really hard to hear what the narrator is saying at times... Looks like more of the same, but that can't be a bad thing!

from what we can see in the released movies, the gameplay looks really polished. Here's hoping that they're just about ready for release!

If there is one company that has made an art of turning a grind into fun, it's Blizzard. Loved Diablo II, I can replay it even now - in fact I'm currently on Act IV with a couple of friends, and we're slaughtering all before us.

Ack ack ack. Ack ack! ACK ACK ACK!
Do not run. I am your friend.

actually they are far from release. i guess any company except Blizzard would release it within 2008 - but Blizzard is known to to release (almost) finished Products.

dont expect this game before 2010.

from what i've read, many fans are worried about the colorful enviroment, which could destroy the dark mood of the previous two games.
Personally i'm not worried about the colors, but more about cartoony shapes like those in all Warcraft games. (concave or convex shaped columns/pillars)
That would defenately destroy half of the experience for me

sorry for my bad english

a little bump - can someone rename this topic to a proper title?

sure some of you followed the fan-petition to make the game darker and less colorfull. Finally now some new screenshots came out, showing a less colorfull area.

seems like the fanboys have been to fast with their complaints... as usual.
may i ask here - Does anyone of you remind what Diablo2 looked like when played with a 3Dfx card (Voodoo2)? Thats what the game was primary made for - and it was way more colorfull

sorry for my bad english
