since the start of winter..we had a total of about 3 inches of snow..and only a few days with temp below "0"...this week-end it was 17c and sunny...NORMALY..temp should average -20c, and at LEAST 2 feet of snow so far......the planet's outa wak..but meteorologist say it's a normal thing that happens about every 50 years

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

well it was almost 70 deg. F on Saturday in NYC... really really weird for the middle of winter here.... I know everyone is saying it's El Nino but who knows. We still have yet to see ANY snow this winter in NYC.

I didn't love the movie but it had some very interesting info in it, so I guess I'd recommend it if you're reading this thread. An Inconvenient Truth had some very scary stuff and findings. I don't think it was a great documentary though. And while you're at it - Who Killed the Electric Car was pretty interesting too - and pretty on topic.

Yep... Normally I (we) should be shoveling out our cars every morning before going to work (those that dont have a contract to do it) and cursing the cold weather. Instead? My grass is green and could stand mowing and I'm thinking seriously about putting chlorine in my pool!!

Look on the bright side: At least we're not in Colorado, under 1M+ of snow, with more in sight

Britain had it's first taste of summer weather today! wet, windy and f*cking freezing!

It was 75F yesterday, but rainy and windy, somewhat colder today. The last time I had a winter this warm was in Saudi Arabia.

70s here in the Northeast on Saturday...my wife wore capri pants and flip-flops--to a Christmas party.

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive...

It's far too warm. :bitch:

somewhere in the region of 6º Celsius here in North East England, the time has just gone 00:15 on the 9th January. Tomorrow it's expected to be around 10º C with sunshine- very much like a summers day here.

We actually have buds on the trees and flowers in my gardens- if I didn't know the time of year I'd have said it was early spring. We seem to have skipped winter entirely, though a cold snap is forecast for the end of the week, with blizzards and "several inches" of snow.

I live in hope.

Here comes the water, It comes to wash away the sins of you and I.
This time you see- like holy water, it only burns you faster than you'll ever dry.
