| Is Baaaaack... | Favorite SF spaceships? Hey, this is SciFi-Meshes, so folks should all have an opinion on this one: what are your favorite sci-fi spaceships?Cap ship or fighter, doesn't matter. What designs inspired you? My personal list 1. The Imperial Star Destroyer (surprise!) - Star Wars: OT 2. The Millenium Falcon - ditto 3. The refitted Enterprise - Star Trek:TMP, II-III 4. The Enterprise-E - Star Trek: First Contact, etc. 5. Battlestar Galactica (2003) 6. The Roger Young - Starship Troopers 7. T-65 X-Wing - Star Wars:OT 8. TIE Interceptor - Star Wars:ROTJ 9. Gunstar - the Last Starfighter 10. Battlestar Galactica (1978) As for fan-made designs: The Krasnoi Class Missile Destroyer - Steve "Coolhand" Tyler. And, no, I'm not kissing up to Steve just because he's a Sensei. That ship rocked hard, man. |

| Is Baaaaack... | Hmm, can't believe I left out Discovery from 2001. Or the Leonov from 2010, for that matter. So many ships... |

After that, well... from Trek the upgraded Excelsior, Nebula, Akira and NX class, Vor'cha and D'deridex. Star Wars, I have no particular favorite, except perhaps the Lambda shuttle. Stargate... well who can resist a flying pyramid? The 2010 Leonov and the B5 Omega class share a spot too. The spinning middle section looks just cool. |
