Thumbs up The Thread formerly known as "sensible" but now out of control! aka TOP GEAR

Well Top Gear came back a few weeks ago and not a thing has changed since Hamster accident, it good to see him back to his old self.

Did anyone see last week’s ep where they had to each buy a car for $1,000 and travel form Miami to New Orleans then sell it on? I could not stop laughing my ass off for the whole hour. The Stig American cousin was just funny as hell!

When Clarkson turning up to their camp site, with a dead cow on the roof of his Carmaro, was just priceless. (They where given a challenge where they had to feed themselves for the night with roadkill.) I can still see the look on Captain Slow and Hamster face.

The bit where they had to decorate each others car was funny as hell but also very scary. The way the locals where acting at what they did, they where lucky to get out alive.

When they final made it to New Orleans (This was last summer, so not much had changed since the hurricane, and don’t much has now) they released they would not be able to sell the cars as no would want one. So they gave them away to charity.
However Captain Slow could not get ride of his car because no one wanted it.

Next week it back to the old format, and it look like they are going to turn a Robin Reliant into a space ship, This should be good for a laugh!!

I love watching Top Gear, it's one of my favourite shows

I kind of skipped most of your post though, cos we're not up to there in NZ yet

They keep playing a few shows of the latest season and then they play repeats for several weeks, which is really anoying

So far this season has been good, the first ep they tore up a road and put down a new one in 24 hour instead of the normal six weeks. the had a few misshapes while doing it, but the they got the job done faster than the council can do it.

the decorating of the cars was as you said funny and scary ....

and Hamster is back in true form ..... I cringe at what they plan doing to the Iconic Robin Relient

Going by that ep it looks like last summer was bad for Hamster, Nearly crashing into a river full of man eating Cocks, being chased out of town by redneck that wanted to kick the s**t out him and then final the crash in the Vampire.

But it makes great TV!

Saw the MPH '07 Live Motoring Theatre show last weekend. That was excellent. Clarkson arrives on the stage in a white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, full of automatic weapons.
