From the City that Care Forgot...

I'd just like to wish all of you here that aren't New Orleanians...

HAPPY MARDI GRAS!

Mmm, rum, beer & king cake. Work is gonna be painful tomorrow.

What?! Mardi Gras isn't any sort of gay holiday. It's actually a Catholic tradition. Perhaps you're thinking of Southern Decadence?

and who gives a **** if the attendees are gay, straight or whatever?

Mardi Gras has nothing to do with sexuality, so lets not bring it into a thread just for the sake of a bit of attention.

In Australia Mardi Gras is the unofficial "Gay Day" with big gay pride parades through the streets of the cities (or should I just say Oxford St in Sydney)

i think its unique though and in NO WAY related to the real Mardi Gras

And, as predicted, work is indeed painful today.
