Blog Entries: 2 | Well since firefly came up, I would say the moment I was hooked on the show, when I knew it wasn't another run of the mill space opera, was when Mal kicked a chained and unarmed prisoner into the jet intake of his ship. |

| Indiana Jones, one of the coolest characters ever! that scene in ROTLA were he shoots that man with the sword, classic! That scene was great! though I loved in the first episode were mal at the end walks into the loading bay and shots the government agent in the head without breaking stride! funny and cool as hell! ( I'm worried both things i'v said are about shooting people) oh FYI, Mal would make a great Indian Jones! |

| And unscripted...Lucas admitted it years later, that Ford did it on the spur of the moment. The reaction of the crowd was so good and spontaneous, they kept it instead of the scripted scene. Apparently it pissed off the actor playing the arab, as it was meant to be a longer fight scene and he missed his chance. |

| For my entry - I've got loads, but I'll start off with Equilibrium. A massively unsung cult-classic mixing 1984, Farenheit 451 and Matrix environments in one. Superb future-martial-arts fight scenes, and at last a realistic reaction to emotion for the first time (Bale listening to a record for the first time in his life). |

| SFM Guru | Star Trek Deep Space Nine. ![]() Hands down, the most developed Star Trek of them all. The charrectors were completley fleshed out, issues that featured in one episode stayed with the charrector/show throughout the series and a fundemental story arc that, ok Gene Roddenbury may not have totally aproved of worked completley and brilliantly... |

| Star Wars! All six films have something to offer, no two are the same, yet they all fit together into a whole. Star Trek: The Motion Picture. One of my all-time favorites. Alien (not fond of the sequels, but the original has a very special place in my DVD collection) Blade Runner. Possibly the best science fiction film ever made. As for TV shows, the new Galactica and Firefly are right up there, but don't forget the X-Files! THERE was a quality show. And ok, have to mention Miami Vice... not sci-fi, but one of the very few 80's TV series that stands the test of time. |
