| Hmm, another thread that kind of goes against terms of service... wouldn't be surprised if this thread is closed, or if not that, turns nasty very quickly.... Just remember the article is about tribal Africans.... naturally they'll have some odd beliefs, but its hardly our place to poke fun at them. Some of us have "odd" beliefs too. |

| Hehe ... I for one enjoy these TOS bending threads. Must be the sadist in me.  As for those who believe that Trek is real ... actually, it could be true ... in another reality of course ... in this one ... highly unlikely (except for the potential technology development). OT: the tribal Africans are indeed what is being covered in the article. The raping can be a result of a human sexual predator. Simple as that. Any `demonic appearance` can be a result of a genetic factor which resulted in an appearance that others perceive as `demonic`. Then again ... everything we say here about that subject is pure speculation ... same goes for the article and how the tribal Africans `beliefs` explain all of this. |

| Interesting... I have heard some odd stories from Africa before and this is hardly amongst the truly odd. Some Rapists in that part of the world also deliberately prey on supersticious beleifs in an effort to prevent the authorities being "involved" |

| What really blows my mind is that for every conceivable act of human selfishness, in this case the sexual attacks of both men and women something OTHER than a human is to blame. In this case its tied to a weird fanstasy about an animal taking on human form to do bad thingfs to people. Before modern civilations came into being when someone did bad things to people it too was blamed on some strange occult like thing, usually linked to a demon. Hopefully this village will realize that one possibly more mother****ers are to blame for hurting people and they will leave the animals out of it. pacal |
