it's like computers in the 60's that were the size of houses. now they fit in the palm of your hand.....now they have the power..in 30 years, we'll see portable laser weapons..

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

Yeah, well, we haven't managed to kill ourselves off entirely with nukes, maybe high-powered lasers will do the trick.

Don't you just love how such a large percentage of human technological innovation has wound up dedicated to killing other humans? Yay Mankind! Go team!

Also in time of war, more Tech is devloped that can be used in time of peace. think how the world would be today, if none of the tech that came out of the WWII was only now being made. The world would look very different.

Actually, the majority of everyday inventions that we take for granted have come from military backgrounds.

The jet engine was designed as was the propellor engine for military aircraft, without them we wouldn't be flying around the world on vacation.

The Saturn V rocket that took man to the moon, was nothing more than a ballistic missle with a manned capsule strapped on the top.

Even the internet that we love so much, was designed as a secure (hahaha) network for the military and government to talk to each other in the event of a nuclear war.

Microwave oven, teflon, house alarms, car alarms, thousands of medicines, super glue, goretex, thinsulate, the list is honestly staggering.

So in actual fact it's the other way round.

Don't you just love how thousands of military inventions have improved our lifestyles and prolonged our lives.

His Wife is a figment, he's married to his right hand, the twat.
