What an incredible disappointment. For as long as this project was in development you'd think the producers would have complimented the Robotech saga instead of insulting it.

The animation was choppy and done a la American style vs true anime. Though the way characters were drawn were true to the genre the art quality was very poor.

The dialog was horrible and childlike and the overall story was very anti-climatic and even seemed sort of pointless.

If you are a fan of Robotech then buy it just to complete your collection but don't expect a landmark high quality film.
