Lightwave 3D 7.5

Hey,
Does anybody know where I can buy a copy of Lightwave 3d 7.5? I don't like version 9. I cant seem to find a place that carries a previous version of the software.

you could try and buy it second hand, but it would be pointless because 8 and 9 are so much better

I pity the fool!

cchrisv, Honestly listen to IRML, LW9 and very soon 9.2 are leagues ahead of 7.5 both in function and stability.

What is it exactly that you don't like about 9?

His Wife is a figment, he's married to his right hand, the twat.

my guess would be he doesn't like hard body/soft body dynamics and cloth sims, the nodal material editor, all the cool new shaders like anisotropic reflections and sub surface scattering, rendering HVs in fprime, faster rendering and new cameras, faster displays, edges, dynamite fluids......

that's what you'd be missing if you really decide to go with 7.5

I pity the fool!

then you can simply go to the menu editor and change the display type to 7.5, that's what I do since they changed it in 8

certainly isn't a reason to miss out on 2 years worth of new features

I pity the fool!

True but I dont deal well with change. I developed a flow and 9 just messed up that flow.
