I got to see it, almost missed it and ran outside wet and towled straight out of the shower to see.

It was worth it, lol.

You're all overexposing. Remember that the moon is rotating around Earth, in the opposite direction in which earth spins, so you need to shoot fast, as in at least 1/100 sec. to avoid blur like that.

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive...

Nice shots, especially Glazy's. It was cloudy here too. Bummer too, because I was all set up to take some time lapse pics like I did in '04

This thread should be moved over to the photography section so it won't get buried, and I'm sure other people will have pics to add from the '07 eclipse.

If you missed it, don't despair. There is another one on the 28th of August, 2007.

<edit> Doh! I just looked up the August 28th eclipse in Starry Night. It's to happen at 10:37 ET.. in the middle of the day here!! With any luck, those of you in Europe might get a glimpse of it around sunset. Bugger </edit>

  • Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
