...I have nearly his entire mesh archive upto 2002 / 2003.
(did he release many more after that ?)

the only issue would be authors.

If it's true to the STA style, all the authors should be listed with their last known emails in those zip files with the meshes.

Now, on a side note, i have spent the last day researching startrekaustralia and it's fate. According to the australian registry of Births, Marriages and Deaths, no Andrew.J.Hodges from townsville has been listed as deceased between 2002 and 2006. (Thank you Way-back for giving me the "About Webmaster" page from sta.com)

His last known good email address (DNS registrar) was starfleet2000@hotmail.com, which is no longer registered at hotmail.

Devilsworld6.com and his devil.beyond.net.au domains no longer register to Andrew J Hodges.

The only active sites left that reference hodges are scifi-meshes.com, porn sites.

There's nothing more to dig up, every site i visited, either through google cache or wayback, didnt show anything unusual in news or forum posts, it's he just packed up overnight and left, or just lost his job and ability to pay for the internet.

does Australia have an online 411 website like we do up here ?
if so, have you considered back tracing his last name to try
to find him.. or maybe even any family members..

Typically i would recommend against such a step,
but this is going on a long time, even for him..
i don't remember any of his other dissapeariances lasting as long,
or seeming as.. Grave.. as this one..

though i could picture the conversation..
"Hi, this is the internet calling.. is andrew home ?"

what do you mean a 411 website? do you mean like an online phone directory? we have the aussie equivilent, yellowpages.com.au

I'd write at him to his emailadress, but it's not existing anywhere. Exist another homepage or another emailadress of him?
