Favorite Soundtrack - Movies in General

So whats your favorite OST (soundtrack)? Or favorites for that matter! Mine are:

In rough order:
TOP FAVORITE: Children of Dune OST
1) Donizetti - Lucia di Lammermoor Act. 3 N.14 (Diva Dance) - Fifth Element
2) Grand Central - K-Pax
3) Apollo 13 Theme - Apollo 13
4) Cameroon Border Post - Tears of the Sun
5) The Rock Theme - The Rock
6) Across the Stars - Star Wars: Episode II
7) The Council of Elrond - Lord of the Rings
8) Harry Gregson & Williams' Battle Theme - The Chronicles of Narnia
9) The Storm & the Dead - Battlestar Galactica Mini-Series
10) Battle - Battlestar Galactica Mini-Series

There are dozens and dozens more but I wanted to keep it limited to my top 10; even if it's really rough. I love the ENTIRE Passion of the Christ Soundtrack as well as the OST from Starwars Episodes I and beyond not to mention dozens of other movies... it is hard to choose!

I thought First Contact had a great soundtrack. Kill Bill vol2 had an interesting one as well.

1. Bear McCreary - BSG S2 - Prelude to War, Adama and Roslin, Pegasus, Lords of Kobol, Something Dark is Coming, Black Market, One Year Later (yeah I know not a movie soundtrack, but I just can't get enough of this music!)
2. Craig Armstrong - Kiss of the Dragon - I had this playing while I was playing HW2 one time, and all I can say is WOW
3. Howard Shore - LOTR - need I say more?
4. Jerry Goldsmith - ST:FC - gosh I used to listen to that all the time . . . except 'Oobie Doobie' I hated that song!
5. Various - Garden State - just remembered that I just bought this movie. my favorite Natalie Portman film
6. Rogers & Hammerstein - The Sound of Music - truly classic

[edit]
7. Master and Commander - that was a good one too

Bear McCreary - BSG S1 - A Shape of Things To Come
Elmer Bernstein - The Magnifificent Seven (main theme)
John Williams - The Imperial March (nuff said)
Jon Brion - Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (main theme) (beautiful piece of music)
Jerry Goldsmith - Alien (main theme) (still makes the hair on the back of my neak stand up)
Hanz Zimmer - Brothers (from Broken Arrow, the only good thing about the film)
James Horner - Battle In The Mutara Nebula (ST:TROK)
Danny Elfman - Spidey Suite - (Spiderman 2, but I love most of his work)
John Ottman - Reprise/Fly Away (Superman Returns OST, Ottman did a great job incoparating John Williams music)
Ennio Morricone - For A Few Dollars More (main theme)
Maurice Jarre - Dr. Zhivago (main theme)

There are so many more that I love! some have been said, some have not!

Hmmm, my favorites would be:

1) Star Wars
2) The Empire Strikes Back (I actually like it more, musically, but Star Wars started the series and established the dominant musical themes)
3) The Incredibles
4) LOTR: The Two Towers (the Rohan-related themes and the music for Helms Deep are great)
5) Star Trek II and III
6) Aliens
7) Raiders of the Lost Ark
8) E.T.
9) Superman
10) Harry Potter I and III

No particular order
