BSG/Zoic win awards at VES

Here's a little article about Zoic winning some awards at VES. There are also some clay renders of the Peggy, from Zoic that I've never seen before.

fxguide - visual effects training - Zoic wins at VES Awards for Battlestar Galactica

fxguide has a great podcast too, if you're into that type of stuff!

cheers!

Once again I see Al's modeling work in some of those pics too...Congrats to all involved. That episode is the benchmark that all tv visual effects should be measured against IMHO. Awe-inspiring stuff.

Al, have they offered you any work for season 4, or is it all being done down in LA?

^ Well that just blows. I don't know why they moved down to LA if it cost more there. where the logic in that.

Out or curiosity, are you working on anything at the moment that you can talk about?

Sometimes 'convienience' outweights 'cost' - but also, sometimes it can be empire building. Same type of thing happened with B5 when Foundation lost it to Netter Digital (i.e. the co-producers own company).

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.
