Direct Battlestar Galactica!

I just found this on the SFX mag, web page.
Quote:
Now here's something very cool indeed. Scifi.com has just released a little number called the Battlestar Galactica Videomaker Toolkit.

Ah, you're ahead of us, aren't you? Yes, this piece of software delivers everything a fan needs to create their own four-minute Galactica mini-movies (aside from copious amounts of gratuitous Number Six footage). It delivers more than 30 visual effects and 20 audio effects, along with choice cuts from the show's soundtrack.

Wannabe TV helmers [sorry folks - US entries only] are encouraged to post their completed videos on the Scifi.com site, to be praised or belittled by their peers. BSG exec producer David Eick will pick his favourite entry, and it'll be broadcast in its entirety on SCI FI during an episode of the show itself. Head over to SCIFI.COM | Battlestar Galactica Videomaker Toolkit.
Just a Pain that it only open to the US!!

It does look like it would be fun to try out.

yep it does, it also proves that it designed for atmospheric work
