Thumbs up 300

Just got back from the theater...the bloodiest, goriest rocking good time I've had in awhile! This movie is a blockbuster from beginning to end...anyone else see it yet?

It only opens 30/03 here, so still a little to go yet. Though from the trailer, it's the first movie in many months that I'm actually wanting to watch in the movie theater instead of waiting for the DVD.

Well, 5 minutes ago I got back from a sold out theatre, and I'm talking 8 different showtimes tonight, and I got there a good 2 hours before the first one... I have a feeling this film will do well!

Artistically the movie was gorgeous. Story-wise not so much. The dialogue was satisfactory and the music was cool. LOL they took some serious artistic license with the history though.

I wanted to see it in iMAX, but the closest thing we have is an 80 foot dome at OMSI... Its hard watching a movie in surround view.

I saw it at a screening my college had on Tues night. Going to see it on IMAX tomorrow.

Good times, though I also took note of the historical artistic license they took.

Definitely avoid it if blood makes you squimish.
