1) 2001 A space Odyssey
2) Blade Runner
3) Solaris (the original, not the crappy Clooney one)
4) Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
5) Dark City

The Battlestar Galactica was never stripped of its armor.

it's hard to pick just 5, but here's mine in no particular order

Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Total Recall
The 5th Element
Aliens
Minority Report

there's so many good ones I haven't seen yet, so I'm sure that list will change, top 10 would be better I'd like to fit Back to the Future, 12 Monkeys and Logan's Run on there

I pity the fool!

Always the rebel, I'll post my 5 WORST Sci-Fi movie picks instead:

In no particular, stinky, putrid, waste-of-money order...

1) Sphere (Sharon, Dustin, & Sam: Recipe for disaster)
2) Event Horizon (wretch!)
3) A.I. (He saw dead people... too bad he saw this script too)
4) Ultraviolet (nice ass, but DAY-UM what a bad movie)
5) Battlefield Earth (so bad, it was almost good)

Dis-honorable mention goes to:
Island of Dr. Moreau (Someone made him an offer, he COULD have refused!)

  • Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
