| "Andrew Jackson, in the main foyer of his White House, had a big block of cheese. It was huge and was there for any and all who were hungry. Jackson wanted the White House to belong to the people, so occasionally, he opened his doors to anyone who wished an audience. It is in that spirit that I ask senior staff to have meetings with organizations that have a difficult time getting our attention." -Leo McGarry, The West Wing | |

| SFM Guru | /\ Princesses or female leads? Anyway to answer, Ariel beats out Jasmine for the top spot but only just. To be honest Jasmine is the better character but Ariel has the better songs. Actually that's a little unfair because Ariel has more songs, infact does Jasmine even get a solo? I think she does but it's not very memorable. < Remembering that my first film at the cinema was The Little Mermaid for my sisters birthday. When I saw the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean and the ship coming out of the fog I was sitting there thinking: 'They stole that from The Little Mermaid.....' Of course Disney can't steal from Disney, meh. \/ If you saw an NS5 (from I Robot) walking down the street would you: A - Geek out and start asking it technical questions. B - Wonder: 'What robot is that?' Because you've never seen I Robot. C - Run because he's going to try to take over the world. (As all machines will eventually try to do, oh yes your toaster is watching you!) |
