| ^ I wanted to be an astronaut. Watching man walk on the moon did that to kids. < About to try out new thrusters on my Colonial Defender. (Day 293 on this project.) V As I said above, watching man walk on the moon had an impact on my childhood. What event, if any, influenced your childhood? |

| SFM Guru | ^ Watching Star Wars for the first time at christmas on my grandmothers T.V. I was never really that interested in film until then. < First day back at work after 2 and half weeks holiday I was surprised because it was alright, tired now though. V Do you think it's weird that people get tea / coffee / cigarette breaks? I mean they're like an indulgence right? So in the future will we have chocolate breaks? Gameboy breaks (for the old school) and PSP2 breaks (for the new school) doesn't it seem odd to create an institution at work that's specifically designed to counter working? (Sorry about this I've been doing the thinking thing again.... ) |

| ^ counter working ? go to france, dude. a friend of mine had his mom doing a strike because they deleted the windows card game on their computers. about the breaks, its normal to do breaks when you work with your brain. human brain wasnt made to be highly solicitated 8h non stop, it need time to cool down and disconect. so call it as you whish, gameboy break smole break or cafe break, you just need it. and french syndicates will always want more break and less work. they already have 35work hours a week, and still complaining its too much. > 1st day of work after fiestas patrias. 4 days of barbecues, alcohol and so on. v they put some other people in MY hole at work. i hate people. would you be happy to share your office with a bunch of hippies ? |

| "Andrew Jackson, in the main foyer of his White House, had a big block of cheese. It was huge and was there for any and all who were hungry. Jackson wanted the White House to belong to the people, so occasionally, he opened his doors to anyone who wished an audience. It is in that spirit that I ask senior staff to have meetings with organizations that have a difficult time getting our attention." -Leo McGarry, The West Wing | |
