| Hmm, I have several, let see... 1. SW:ROTJ, its classic. 2. Legend of Galactic Heroes, great battles with great tactical value and the classical music in the background. 3. Banner of the Star 2, A new kind of warfare, guided-mine warfare. 4. MS IGLOO episode 1, Fed vs Zeon during the battle of Loum. Thats one massive broadside engagement until the Zeon unleash the Zaku's to finish the Feds. 5. ST:2 Wrath of Khan. The most classical ship vs ship combat in ST. |

| i got 3 actually. wich are equale to me. - Return of the Jedi. -Endor Battle. i love it cause it's just nuts, and the chase in the deathstar was just insane. AND...to date. Also, this battle is to date, the most complex compositing stuff ever done in the old way. Star Wars: A New Hope. i mean come on....at 11 years old, that blew me straight outa my chair at the time. Star Wars Revenge of the Stih. Intro Space battle. it's the first cool space stuff scene in ages. that actually felt like a full blown war.. |

| SFM Guru | All of my fave battles have been mentioned...but what the hell! 1) Star Trek II: The Reliant vs The Enterprise, the music is spot on as is the acting, its up there with the end of ST:VI, absolutly love it. 2) ST:Generations -The battle of Veridian Three was pretty cool, not one of the best sci-fi moments ever, but I remember when the saucer crashlanded at the end, I was like, "****! Did that actually happen!" 3)ST: Nemisis -The Typhon-Expanse Battle -was pretty cool, When Data said they were loosing the ventral sheilds, the ship and crew being thrown about left right and centre made me all goosepimply -again, not the best film, it just made me go, "holy crap, this is good!" 3) Starship Troopers: When the Roger Young is split in two -I always wanted to see that happen to a Trek ship alas, it never happened! 4) Pretty much every BSG battle scene! -The Serenity/Firefly style of CGI works so well, it looks fresh and feels like your watching a documentry or real life, it's all very cool! 5) LOTR: Battle of Minys Tirinth -or however you spell it! -Bloody fantastic! The speach that Gandalf gives to one of the hobbits just before the battle stirs your very soul! |

![]() damn good movie though STII - Khan vs Kirk in the mutara nebula was classic, and suspenseful one of my favs. very submarine-ish basically any BSG battle. the battle for the resurrection ship, Scattered, the exodus, all of them are fantastic the original star wars movies definitely rock the battles in DS9 and the later trek movies were a little lame in my opinion 500 meter long ships flying like fighter jets . . . fun to watch, just not my taste really . . . | |
