| Okay so I am using Media Player 11 and I've developed this problem I can't seem to figure out how to fix. It goes like this- I play a video and if I click on the time line to skip forward the volume will go to max and I have to adjust the volume slider even though it hasn't moved... If I start the player the volume is fine at the setting it's supposed to be at. But if I skip or scrub the video in the slightest way, the volume flies off the handle. Has anyone experienced this?? I would like some help if possible please |

| SFM Obsessed | Having seen the huge number of problems with it, I would probably recommend using a different player! It looks like the sound problem is probably driver or codec related. Try upgrading the sound card drivers. Edit: Looks like Media Player Classic works on Vista, so I would strongly recommend using that instead as it is far superior to the newer WMPs |

| Hmm, I didn't have any problems with it either so far. I used to use Winamp, but it would always maximize when I used my next/previous song keys...WMP doesn't do that so I can use the keys while gaming! |

| I have a gig of RAM. But here's the thing- WMP 11 never used to do this... It's a recent event. It worked fine for a long time and I don't want to roll back to an older version of WMP because with 11 I can connect to my Xbox360 and stream my music from my PC to it. |
