Star Wars - 30th Anniversary May, 25th.

well...30 years, man that's making me OLD. i've been searching the net to see if the rumored 12 DVD box set will be released, and the either blueray or HD-DVD box set will be released as well, but seems it's been either kept REALY secret, or pushed back a bit.

My dream box set personnaly, would be to get a TON of DVDs about the Making of the 6 movies, i just loved those.

When you love a pet, loosing it is like loosing a part of your soul. I lost part of mine on Feb 12 2008. Never will it be the same again.

I'm a bit surprised that LFL hasn't come up with an uber set to coincide with May 25th. Then again, the DVDs with the theatrical cuts weren't announced that far in advance of release, so maybe they're just keeping mum. I could see an announcement happening at this year's Celebration.

Personally, I already own all six movies, in two flavors for the OT. I'd rather pay for a box set of nothing but documentaries than re-purchase the movies again.

My inner child got his ass kicked by my inner juvenile delinquent...

Star Wars Reference Photos here.

what I want is a dvd set of the pre 1997 original trilogy. just that and nothing else . . .
well maybe some super cool making of features, but I don't much care for the 'special editions'

Or you could wait for the 40th anniversary and get all 6 films in 3D HD with the entire live action series and 3D clone wars thrown in, all on one smart card.
