Porkchops anyone?

I thought this was pretty freakish.

I just don't understand the mentality of "hey, that pig is possibly the largest I've ever seen. Let's kill it!"

Don't get me wrong, i love porkchops as much as the next guy, but a 1051 lb. pig is worth saving just for the circus sideshow earnings

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive...

hmm, i smell photoshops more than porkchops from that pic. the kid looks a tad too sharp and oversaturated compared to the rest to me.

I have my suspiscions too. I heard it on NPR on the way home from work yesterday. They were interviewing the taxidermits. Apparently they are only going to mount the head and shoulders. I would have had the whole thing preserved.

Not only is the pig hard to beleive, but the fact that the kid had a 50 caliber hand gun, something most grown men would struggle to fire sounds a bit suspect.

It's all done with camera angles...

Edit: just to add a little detail... The photo where they are supposed to be standing next to it is clearly just a camera angle thing. The two with it on the ground with just the kid and then the kid and his family in the background would easily be created using focal length adjustment.

The picture with the "monster" being lifted up with the tractor in the background gives a much more realistic scale, with the pig appearing to actually be around 5 to 6 feet in length

Better yet, look at the picture where he's supposed to be leaning on it (shoulders of pig to approx. his waist), then the four of them kneeling behind the pig - bring even one of the adults forwards and it would at most come up to mid-thigh. Not a lot of difference, but enough to show that the shots are fake.

Would also be nice if they learned to spell.

No question is a stupid question if you don't know the answer - If you need help (and you can find us), ask the (Sens)A-Team.
